It is critical this deletion process is completed on a Microsoft computer, as MAC does not show hidden files; therefore, the MAC does not locate one of the files. If both of these files are not deleted, the process of transferring the ebooks to the NOOK will NOT work.

The idea was, to turn it into my ideal e-reader tool. I chose the Nook Simple Touch as my base unit. Ever since I installed Mountain Lion a few days ago, suddenly my Nook software for Mac isn't working. It will open up, but it stops at the gray background with Nook logo.
You can still get the nook for pc app/program (not sure about one for mac as I don’t have that kind of computer). It seems to be hidden away but I just googled it and got the following page.
